An unscheduled Fight For The Finish!-The Clone Wars Animated Series

Yeah even though we said the next one wasn't until December 9th, but we couldn't resist. This one's a little different though than the one from June. In this one and the following ones we will decide the winner based on three different challenges. Each matchup will be determined on Strength, Speed, and Weapons (Unless a previous canon battle has occurred). For every challenge a character wins, they get one point. Whoever has the most points wins the matchup. To show you how we decided the victors, we will explain down below. Below all the explanations is the bracket. Remember these battles are decided with a location of a white void and using the gear they normally have with them.

Here's how we chose the victors:

ROUND 1:
Game 1: Ahsoka Tano VS Anakin Skywalker
Victor-Anakin Skywalker
Strength: Anakin would have more strength than Ahsoka Tano in this case if it came to a simple fist fight. We've seen Anakin beat up Poggle The Lesser, and Ahsoka can hold her ground, but based off what we've seen of Anakin, Anakin would win this challenge.
Speed: This would go to Anakin no doubt. Anakin has Force Speed, an ability which Ahsoka does not. Easy choice, Anakin wins
Weapons: Even though we made a decision, the match already goes to Anakin based off the 2-0 score already. Ahsoka has two lightsabers later in the series, so we'll give Ahsoka one point.

Game 2: Cad Bane VS Asajj Ventress
Victor-Asajj Ventress
Strength: We've seen Asajj beat up Zabracks in the series when finding Savage Opress. She's very impressive and we'll give this point to Asajj.
Speed: Cad Bane has some speed, and his jetpack wouldn't be in this challenge. Asajj has force speed that we see in the same episode. Point Ventress.
Weapons: Cad Bane wins this one. Asajj has her lightsabers, but Bane has his jetpack and complete set of wrist gauntlets and blasters. This one would again go automatically to Assajj, so we don't need to explain a lot in this category.

Game 3: General Grievous VS Captain Rex
Victor-General Grievous
Strength: Captain Rex does have good strength considering he's bred for combat. Though when matched with General Grievous it would be really hard to punch him to death, considering he's a cyborg. Grievous would pick him up and throw him to the ground, use his feet to choke him.
Speed: General Grievous can crawl very fast from what we've seen in the animated series. Captain Rex can run, but can't match the speed of Grievous. Point Grievous.
Weapons: 2-0 matchup already, so the victor is already decided. Here's why Grievous would win this challenge: Grievous has lightsabers compared to Rex's twin pistols. So far this is the only 3-0 sweep.

Game 4: Commander Cody VS Count Dooku
Victor-Count Dooku
Strength: We'd give this point to Cody because of his age comparison to Dooku and his training. Maybe if this was the younger Master Dooku before he left the order then this would've been different.
Speed: Count Dooku has Force Speed, so this point is for Dooku.
Weapons: It comes down to this challenge, but it's easy to say that Dooku's lightsaber would be more powerful than a DC-15A. Match point goes to Dooku.

Game 5: Savage Opress VS Barriss Offee
Victor-Savage Opress
Strength: Strength would obviously go to Savage. He's a brute Nightbrother who killed two Jedi with a trident.
Speed: This would also go to Savage Opress. Savage has Force Speed, which greatly increases his speed in combat, the same ability that Asajj Ventress has.
Weapons: Make it a 3-0 sweep. Savage uses a double-bladed lightsaber in the series, before he is struck down by Darth Sidious. This would make it even harder for Barriss to defend herself with his powerful double-bladed attacks.

Game 6: Luminara Unduli VS Darth Maul
Victor-Luminara Unduli
A little bonus note for this matchup, this was literally the hardest battle to decide in the entire tournament.
Strength: This would go to Darth Maul, for basically the same reason we gave it to Savage Opress.
Speed: This goes to Luminara Unduli. She has force speed, which would give her a better advantage.
Weapons: This is where we took our time to figure this out. This part will be longer than any other weapons section, so be ready. Luminara uses Form III, or Soresu, in combat. This is the same form that Obi-Wan Kenobi uses. Luminara is a Soresu master, and when it comes to dueling, Luminara is very impressive. Obi-Wan using the same form struck down Maul, who uses form VII. Some people think that Maul would beat Luminara, based off Unduli's battle with Asajj Ventress in the animated series. However, Luminara lost because of her temporary blindness after Ventress ruptured a pipe that was near Luminara's face. Unduli later was trapped under a group of pipes. Neither of these scenarios could have occurred in our battle tournament, if you have already read the rules in the beginning. Because of her form, we are going to give this point to Luminara, making her the victor of this matchup.

Game 7: Pre Visla VS Bo-Katan Kryze
Victor-Pre Visla
This game is basically a coin toss, it just depends on if they can get a good shot, so don't expect much.
Strength: Pre-Visla wins this round.
Speed: Bo-Katan would win this. She's leaner, and less bulky than Visla.
Weapons: We'd give this point to Visla. Being the leader of Death Watch, he's better equipped with more weapons. Most of which we see in his battle with Darth Maul on Mandalore.

Game 8: Obi-Wan Kenobi VS IG-88
Victor-Obi-Wan Kenobi
This game needs no explaining, in the fact that Obi-Wan is a Jedi Master compared to IG-88, a droid. The winner is Obi-Wan.

ROUND 2:
Game 1: Anakin Skywalker VS Asajj Ventress
Victor-Anakin Skywalker
Strength: We've seen this matchup so many times, and it's clear that Asajj will die if she doesn't have a get-a-way ship. Asajj is very strong, and she uses it during ehr time as a bounty hunter. However, Anakin has more strength. We give the point to Anakin.
Speed: We're going to give this point to Asajj. The way she intimidated the nightbrothers on Dathomir using Force speed was amazing. Anakin has never been seen move that fast, even when he was sprinting to rescue Ahsoka during the Holocrons of Fate story arc.
Weapons: This final point will go to Anakin. This category doesn't necessarily mean how many weapons they have, but how skillfully they use them. Ventress has a "unrefined, amateurish, sloppy" version of Count Dooku's form according to Luminara Unduli, where as Anakin has skill. We give the point to Anakin.

Game 2: General Grievous VS Count Dooku
Victor-Count Dooku
Strength: This point goes to Grievous, a cyborg of a former warrior. One of the reasons Count Dooku lost to Anakin during the Battle of Coruscant was of Anakin's new robotic limb. This gave Anakin more strength, and made it harder to Dooku to match it. Imagine facing a cyborg, not just a human with a robotic hand.
Speed: We give this point to Dooku because of his ability of Force Speed, an ability that a non-Force sensitive General does not. Crawling can only get you so far Grievous.
Weapons: Once again, having more weapons does not necessarily make you a better fighter. We've seen this with Obi-Wan and Grievous and Darth Maul and Pre-Visla. Count Dooku trained Grievous in the Jedi arts, after he left the order. He knows Grievous's strengths and weaknesses, and he can exploit them if he were to battle him. Count Dooku managed to defeat Obi-Wan at least twice, and Obi-Wan beat Grievous. That could, if you think of it that way, prove Dooku could beat Grievous.

Game 3: Savage Opress VS Luminara Unduli
Victor-Luminara Unduli
Strength: Savage definitely wins this point. He's a large male Zabrack brute who is transformed to have even more strength and anger by the Nightsisters.
Speed: Luminara gets the point here for mastering Force speed.
Weapons: Luminara has more skill than Savage. Savage was not trained to use a lightsaber for very well, only for a short period with Asajj, Maul, and Dooku before meeting his demise at the hands of Darth Sidious. Faced with a Jedi Master, things might not go well for him.

Game 4: Pre-Visla VS Obi-Wan Kenobi
Victor-Obi-Wan Kenobi
Strength: We'd actually give this point to Visla. Being a Mandalorian warrior from Concordia, he was trained to have a lot of power and strength.
Speed: We'd give this point to Obi-Wan being able to use Force speed, as we've seen in the Phantom Menace.
Weapons: We've actually seen this battle take place before on the moon of Mandalore, Concordia. We'd allow Pre-Visla have his darksaber because he'd had it to his death, and he's had it with his duel with Kenobi. Kenobi won the battle, and Visla would've died, but Visla summoned his warriors to attack Kenobi, so Visla could escape. If it took place without any other Death Watch members, Pre-Visla would meet his end at Kenobi's blade, not Maul's.

ROUND 3:
Game 1: Anakin Skywalker VS Count Dooku
Victor-Anakin Skywalker
Is there really any need to explain? We've seen this battle over Coruscant over and over again.

Game 2: Luminara Unduli VS Obi-Wan Kenobi
Victor-Obi-Wan Kenobi
Strength: This would go to to Obi-Wan, having known to beat up some people in the animated series.
Speed: This point will not be given actually, being a stalemate. Both of these characters have Force speed. No point given.
Weapons: We'd give this point to Obi-Wan. They both use the same form, Form III, but Obi-Wan is a little bit more skilled at it.

FINAL ROUND:

Anakin Skywalker VS Obi-Wan Kenobi
Victor-Obi-Wan Kenobi
Strength: We're going to give this point to Anakin, who's a bit stronger than Kenobi.
Speed: This point goes to Kenobi, a master of Force Speed.
Weapons: Ah we've seen this sad ending to the Revenge of the Sith. Obi-Wan was Anakin's master, so he knows Anakin inside and out, allowing him to use it to his advantage. Anakin was never given the rank of Master on the Jedi Council, which is another reason we will give Obi-Wan the final point.

The Victor Is Obi-Wan Kenobi
