Below The Canon #5- Jar Jar's Death? (Spoilers for Aftermath: Empire's End)

Jar Jar is known as the most hated character of Star Wars, Jar Jar was seen as a clumsy gungan who was always messing things up (Spoilers for Aftermath: Empire's End following this). However we never saw what happened to him after The Revenge Of The Sith. However in the new novel Aftermath: Empire's End, we found out the Jar Jar ended up being a street performer for the children of Naboo.

But that wasn't the original idea. In a deleted scene of The Phantom Menace, when the bongo submarine surfaces the trio of commuters are trying to get off the waterfall and onto the side land structures. What happens? Watch the video, then we'll explain below.

So as you can see, Jar Jar was doomed to fall off the waterfall. So why delete the scene that would kill off the most hated Star Wars character ever? We have a few guesses.

Either that they wanted Jar Jar to stay alive for the theory of Darth Jar Jar, they wanted to grow his character throughout the prequels, or the most obvious approach is that they wanted Jar Jar to stay alive for his big speech: Giving Palpatine emergency powers in the Revenge of the Sith.

Also, wouldn't you think that he could survive that? Of course he is falling off of a waterfall, but still his kind and him literally live underwater. A drop like that into water wouldn't kill him. Right?

Anyway that's not canon. Jar Jar never fell off a waterfall, because the deleted scenes aren't canon, but wouldn't we all want that?
