The Coruscant Post's Villain Matchups! Introducing Versus!

So we're going to do something new, and if you like it we'll do another one with heroes instead of villains. Here's how it works. In the list below are 50 Star Wars antagonists. They will be paired against each other in a battle exactly how we do Fight For The Finish matchups. They will compete in a bracket based tournament, where only the strongest will survive. The winners of complicated matchups and divisions (read further down) will headline not only in a blog post, but in a Coruscant Post Youtube video. Read below on how you can help decide the winners of the matchups.

Divisions:

 So here's the divisions:

     1. Starting 50
     2. Round of 32
     3. Best of 16
     4. Rulers of 8
     5. Champions of 4
     6. Final 2

The winners of each division (excpet for the round of 32) will have a video posted on why we chose that winner. Very intense matchups will also get a video EX: Darth Vader Vs Kylo Ren. Some may be animated if we have the time.

 Rules:
  • The matchups are conducted in a different imaginary arena each division. It makes it more interesting and harder. 
  • The equipment the characters have are only the normal ones they have with them.
  • Each week we release a few of the matchups (not all whole division)
  • You can help decide the winners of the matchups by emailing us at coruscantpost@gmail.com. Tell us why you think that character would win, keep in mind of the division arena.

So first off, we are very sorry for the lack of posts right now. Here's our part 1 of Battlefront 2 Game Analysis. So this a twitch livestream video presenting Battlefront II, and we checked it out a bit. The heavy class, which the streamer started using in the beginning of the video is what we will analyze right now. The Heavy Class: The Heavy Class is very good for long distance, it has a very powerful blaster and it has auto-fires. Equipped with a grenade, you can see how this streamer was able to defeat stormtroopers from on top of Maz's Castle, which ended up being the map for that round. The Heavy Class also has a force field, which allows you to have more protection in close combat, but the defensive gadget is easily defeated by a melee attack. You could see in the beginning of the video, before he managed to get on top of the castle, that the streamer was struggling to play and he was getting killed more than killing. Thursday Theory #1: Rey Palpatine

Before I go into this theory in full depth, I'm going to announce something new that the Coruscant Post will be doing from now on. Every other Thursday we will be going full in depth to an interesting theory that's been on the internet. We might do our own theories from time to time, but we'll be doing already created ones for now. Also, you might see things like the Monday Monster or something else for a particular day, but until we fully announce them as a running thing they will not always show up on the allotted dates. So now that we've announced the Thursday Theory , let's get right down to the theory. This date's theory will be a very interesting theory that claims that Rey is actually a granddaughter of Emperor Palpatine.
